The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) is a group of organisations who work on harmonising the assessment of research. It takes into account practices and activities that maximise the quality and impact of research. It involves basing assessment primarily on qualitative judgment, for which peer review is central, supported by responsible use of quantitative indicators. This FAIR Implementation Workshop - "Assessing national current FAIR-enabling capabilities" will focus on the topic of research assessment to help the selected candidates to draft their FAIR implementation action plan by taking into account the research assessment aspect. Registration is free but mandatory.
