Leiden fulfills a special role in Dutch literature: as a setting for stories and as a place of work and residence for leading literati. In April, the UBL will pay extra attention to the link between Leiden and literature.

Quietly read a book in our new reading corner, listen to iconic stories during the Leiden Literary Lunch Lecture or watch the Leiden literary film of your choice. Click here for more information about Literary Leiden activities.
