Presenting itself as part of an ongoing dialogue between African philosophy and the history of colonialism and its aftermath, the book focuses on "the emancipative thrust in the practice of African philosophy and the imperative history places on the African philosopher, including what it means to philosophy in an unjust world." Come listen to Pascah at 3D@VU and ask your question in the Q&A!

During this event, you'll also hear about the research of AUC students Imani Heijmans and Wanjiku van den Akker and Cecilia Nogueroles (researcher at UvA) into the library's Special Collections.
