Please join us on Thursday, May 11, from 5-7 PM for the opening of our upcoming exhibition Creating the Commons, which examines the co-creation of art and science. 

Come and co-create a collective conscience, participate in a common reading with a plant and celebrate the open production of art and science with us!

The exhibition will open with the common reading STEM, a performance by artists' collective Sunflower Soup in which visitors, artists and the natural world come together in sound and the embodiment of knowledge. Jointly we will explore knowledge in its most organic and natural form. Piek Vossen, Professor of Language Technology, will contribute with a talk on the quality of science and transparency in knowledge creation. 

Creating the Commons examines the co-creation of art and science and its related ideals ideals such as equality, collective interest and sustainability. The exhbition features work by Constant Dullaart, Aram Lee, Semiconductor and Sunflower Soup.
