Chaos is the theme of this year’s month of philosophy. Together with study association Ideefiks and Concordia we selected a rather chaotic movie: Synecdoche, New York. Philosopher dr. Nolen Gertz (UT) will give a short introduction on this movie. A theatre director (played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he creates a life-size replica of New York City inside a warehouse as part of his new play. It’s the first movie director and writer Charlie Kaufman made. This SG is open for everybody, please buy a ticket via www.concordia.nl. Students of Ideefiks and other students get a discount.
