The Flora Batava was the first illustrated flora of the Netherlands. The exhibition at the Library's Special Collections shows original prints, made between 1800 and 1934 as part of the Flora Batava. Also on display are old herb books and beautifully illustrated plant books from the former Dutch colonies. The exhibition is on view until 30 September 2023, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm.
